Built and operated by GeezSoft
Habesha Game Hub: A real-money games platform that lives entirely inside Telegram.
Our first product and the origin of the company: a Telegram Mini App running the same games catalog as BetJocker, Telebirr deposits with automated SMS-based confirmation, a multi-level agent hierarchy and an operator back office. We built it for ourselves, operated it, and learned everything we now bring to clients.
Capabilities
What Habesha Game Hub does.
- Telegram Mini App — no app store, no download, opens from a bot
- The same games catalog as BetJocker — crash, bingo, keno, mines, plinko, slots, dice and cards — inside Telegram
- Telebirr deposits with automated SMS confirmation and crediting
- Multi-level agent hierarchy with commission tracking
- Tiered KYC and withdrawal controls
- Operator back office for approvals, players and agents
Games catalog
17 games, one catalog, two front ends.
The same games engine runs on betjocker.net and inside the Habesha Game Hub Telegram Mini App. Every game publishes its return; every round settles to the balance the moment it ends. Only games currently active are listed.
Case study · Origin story
Habesha Game Hub: the Telegram platform we built for ourselves
Our first product: a real-money games platform inside Telegram with Telebirr deposits, automated payment confirmation and an agent hierarchy. Building and operating it is where GeezSoft learned its trade.
The problem
Building a real digital product for Ethiopian users was harder than it should have been. Every tool and agency we looked at was designed for somewhere else — not for Ethiopian payment systems, not for Ethiopian networks, not for how Ethiopian users actually behave. So we stopped looking and started building.
What we built
A Telegram Mini App: players open a bot, and the whole product — wallet, games, history, support — runs inside Telegram with no app store and no download. Live-round and instant games share one catalog with BetJocker, so a new game ships to every player on web and Telegram at once.
- Telegram Mini App front end
- Live rounds and instant games on one catalog
- Wallet with deposit, withdrawal and history
- Multi-level agent hierarchy with commissions
Payments
Telebirr deposits with automated confirmation: an SMS-forwarder pipeline (with a Raspberry Pi and USB-modem fallback) feeds a webhook receiver that verifies each message before crediting the wallet. Withdrawals go through tiered KYC and an approval queue in the back office.
Architecture and technology
- Supabase (PostgreSQL) as the system of record
- HMAC-verified webhook deposit pipeline
- Tiered KYC: phone, national ID, liveness before high-value withdrawals
- Operator back office for approvals, players and agents
What we learned
- Payment confirmation is the product. If a deposit takes ten minutes to show, nothing else matters.
- Agents are infrastructure. Cash-in and cash-out through people the user knows is how money actually moves.
- Operate what you build. Reconciliation drift, payout race conditions and fraud patterns only show up with real users and real money.
Where it led
The approval workflows, ledger, payment pipeline and role-based back office built here became the foundation for BetJocker and for the institutional and business systems we now build for clients.
