Enterprise & Business Systems

Business systems that give management and the floor the same numbers.

Growing businesses outgrow the spreadsheet and the WhatsApp group. We build the business systems that let a company run several branches, hundreds of users and thousands of transactions a day with one set of numbers.

Scope of this service

  • Business management platforms
  • ERP and CRM solutions
  • Inventory and operations management
  • Staff and resource management
  • Finance-related business workflows
  • Multi-branch and multi-user systems

The problem this solves

When is this the right investment?

Sales, stock, staff and money are tracked in separate places, so the owner sees the real position weeks late. Branches work differently, approvals depend on one person, and reconciliation eats the month's end. The need is a system that fits the business's own processes and gives management the same numbers as the floor.

Solution capabilities

What we build under enterprise & business systems.

Business management platforms

Customers, orders, invoices, stock, suppliers and staff in one system with a dashboard per role — owner, branch manager, cashier, warehouse.

ERP and CRM

Right-sized ERP and CRM functionality built for how you sell and deliver, rather than a generic package you have to bend around.

Inventory and operations

Stock across locations with movements, transfers, counts, reorder points and traceability from purchase to sale.

Staff and resource management

Rosters, attendance, assignments, vehicles and equipment, with approvals and utilization reporting.

Finance workflows

Payment collection with Telebirr, CBE and other rails, receipts, ledgers with before-and-after balances, expense approvals and reconciliation reports — the ledger engineering we run in production ourselves.

Multi-branch, multi-user

One system for every branch and department, with branch-level permissions, consolidated reporting and offline tolerance for poor connectivity.

Key features and workflows

What a typical system includes.

  • Quote → order → delivery → invoice → payment, with status at every step
  • Purchase requests and expense approvals with limits by role
  • Daily cash-up and reconciliation against payment-provider records
  • Stock counts, transfers and variance reports
  • Management dashboards and scheduled reports by branch and period
  • Customer portals and automated notifications by SMS, email or Telegram

Integration and deployment

We connect the new system to accounting software, banks and payment providers, SMS gateways, e-commerce storefronts and the tools your teams already use, and we migrate historical records so the first day of the new system includes your history.

  • Payment integration with Telebirr, CBE and other African rails
  • Accounting exports and bank reconciliation
  • SMS, email and Telegram notifications
  • Phased rollout by branch with training on site

Security, privacy and access control

  • Branch- and role-based permissions with per-action audit logs
  • Ledger-first financial design: balances derived from transactions, never edited directly
  • Encrypted connections and storage; backups with a tested restore
  • Code and data owned by the business, hosted where you choose

Practices are described in full on how we work and security.

Delivery process

How a enterprise & business systems engagement runs.

You are never guessing where the project is. Every week you get a short written update and a demo on a staging environment you can open on your phone; every milestone has an acceptance checklist agreed in advance; and you talk to the engineers doing the work, not an account manager.

  1. 01

    Discovery and requirements analysis

We meet the people who do the work, map the current process, and document roles, data, integrations and constraints. You get a written requirements document to review.

  2. 02

    Solution architecture and proposal

A proposed architecture, the scope in plain language with what is explicitly out, milestones with acceptance criteria, and a fixed price per scope. Timelines are written here, not promised on the first call.

  3. 03

    UI/UX design and prototyping

Clickable prototypes of the key screens, tested with real users where possible — including the least experienced ones — before engineering starts.

  4. 04

    Development and quality assurance

Build in short iterations with weekly demos on staging, automated tests, code review and security checks. You can test each milestone against its acceptance checklist.

  5. 05

    Deployment and implementation

Data migration with dry runs, deployment to your infrastructure or ours, parallel running where needed, and a rehearsed cut-over with a rollback path.

  6. 06

    Training, maintenance and ongoing support

Training for administrators and users, documentation and runbooks, then a support arrangement with agreed response times and a backlog of improvements we prioritize with you.

Proven in production

We run this ourselves before offering it to you.

Our own platforms run the multi-role back offices, double-entry ledgers, agent networks with floats and commissions, and Telebirr/CBE payment integration described here — in production with real transactions every day.

Questions

What clients ask about enterprise & business systems.

Should we buy an ERP package or build?

If a package fits your processes well, buy it — we will say so. Build when your workflow, pricing, branch structure or integrations are specific enough that a package needs constant workarounds.

Can it work when the internet is poor?

Yes. We design for low bandwidth and intermittent connections: small pages, local caching and sync, and clear status when a device is offline.

How do you handle multiple branches?

Each branch has its own users, stock and cash position; management sees everything consolidated. Permissions and reports are defined per branch and per role.

How do we start?

Send a short project inquiry. An engineer replies within one business day with questions and a proposed next step — usually a discovery call.
