Digital Transformation & System Integration

Connect the systems you have. Digitize the processes between them.

Digital transformation is not a new logo on an old process. It is taking the way work actually happens — forms, approvals, payments, hand-offs between systems — and rebuilding it so information moves without re-typing and every step is visible.

Scope of this service

  • Business process digitization
  • API development and integration
  • Third-party system integration
  • Payment integration (Telebirr, CBE, M-Pesa and others)
  • Data migration
  • Legacy platform integration
  • Digital workflow optimization

The problem this solves

When is this the right investment?

Organizations accumulate systems that do not talk to each other, processes that still run on paper between them, and payments confirmed by someone checking a bank app. Each gap costs time, introduces errors and hides what is really going on. The fix is rarely one big replacement; it is a sequence of integrations and digitized processes that each pay for themselves.

Solution capabilities

What we build under digital transformation & system integration.

Process digitization

We map a process end to end, remove the steps that exist only because of paper, and build the digital workflow with the controls your policy requires.

API development and integration

Documented, versioned APIs so your systems — and your partners' — exchange data reliably, with authentication, rate limits and logs.

Third-party integration

Accounting, HR, CRM, SMS, email, identity, mapping and government services connected through their official interfaces, with error handling and retries that hold up.

Payment integration

Telebirr and CBE in production on our own platforms, including automated deposit confirmation, double-entry ledgers and reconciliation against provider records. M-Pesa and other African rails integrated per project.

Data migration

Moving records from spreadsheets, legacy databases or retired systems with mapping, validation reports, dry runs and a signed-off cut-over.

Legacy platform integration

Keeping a system that still works while connecting it to new ones — through its database, exports, or a thin API layer we build around it.

Key features and workflows

What a typical system includes.

  • Process mapping workshops with the people who do the work
  • Integration design with verified, duplicate-safe connections for anything that moves money
  • Staged migration: mapping, validation, dry run, parallel run, cut-over
  • Monitoring and alerting on every integration so failures are seen before users notice
  • Runbooks and documentation for your IT team
  • Measurable targets: cycle time, error rate, reconciliation differences

Integration and deployment

Integration work lives or dies on reliability. Every connection we build is duplicate-safe (the same message cannot be posted twice), verified, logged and reconciled — the same standard we apply to money on our own products.

  • Incoming confirmations are verified and safe against duplicate delivery
  • Scheduled reconciliation jobs with exception reports
  • Sandbox and production environments with separate credentials
  • Clear ownership: credentials stay in your accounts

Security, privacy and access control

  • Secrets and credentials kept in environment configuration, never in code or shared documents
  • Least-privilege API credentials per integration partner
  • Audit log of every exchange that changes a record or moves money
  • Data-protection review of what each integration shares, and why

Practices are described in full on how we work and security.

Delivery process

How a digital transformation & system integration engagement runs.

You are never guessing where the project is. Every week you get a short written update and a demo on a staging environment you can open on your phone; every milestone has an acceptance checklist agreed in advance; and you talk to the engineers doing the work, not an account manager.

  1. 01

    Discovery and requirements analysis

We meet the people who do the work, map the current process, and document roles, data, integrations and constraints. You get a written requirements document to review.

  2. 02

    Solution architecture and proposal

A proposed architecture, the scope in plain language with what is explicitly out, milestones with acceptance criteria, and a fixed price per scope. Timelines are written here, not promised on the first call.

  3. 03

    UI/UX design and prototyping

Clickable prototypes of the key screens, tested with real users where possible — including the least experienced ones — before engineering starts.

  4. 04

    Development and quality assurance

Build in short iterations with weekly demos on staging, automated tests, code review and security checks. You can test each milestone against its acceptance checklist.

  5. 05

    Deployment and implementation

Data migration with dry runs, deployment to your infrastructure or ours, parallel running where needed, and a rehearsed cut-over with a rollback path.

  6. 06

    Training, maintenance and ongoing support

Training for administrators and users, documentation and runbooks, then a support arrangement with agreed response times and a backlog of improvements we prioritize with you.

Proven in production

We run this ourselves before offering it to you.

Questions

What clients ask about digital transformation & system integration.

Which payment rails are live today?

Telebirr and CBE run in production on our own products. Other rails are integrated per project against the provider's official interface.

Can you integrate with a system you did not build?

Yes. We work through its official API, its database or its exports — whichever is supported — and add the reconciliation and logging around it.

How do you reduce the risk of a migration?

Dry runs with validation reports, a parallel-running period, a rehearsed cut-over plan and a rollback path. Nothing is switched off until the new system has been proven with real data.

How do we start?

Send a short project inquiry. An engineer replies within one business day with questions and a proposed next step — usually a discovery call.
