NGO & Development Sector Solutions

Programme, M&E and beneficiary systems that capture data once and report it everywhere.

Development organizations report to donors, coordinate field teams across regions, and must protect the people they serve. We build systems that capture data once, at the source, and turn it into the reports and decisions the programme needs.

Scope of this service

  • Project and programme management systems
  • Monitoring, evaluation and reporting platforms
  • Beneficiary and case management
  • Field data collection applications
  • Grant and resource tracking
  • Multi-location operations management
  • Custom dashboards for organizational reporting

Offered as a prospective service. No public case study in this sector yet — see “Experience” below.

The problem this solves

When is this the right investment?

Programme data is often collected on paper or in disconnected forms, consolidated in spreadsheets, and reported late. Beneficiary records are duplicated across projects, indicators are recalculated by hand for each donor, and field teams work where connectivity is unreliable. The result is slow reporting and weak visibility into what is actually happening.

Solution capabilities

What we build under NGO & development sector solutions.

Programme and project management

Projects, activities, budgets, locations and partners in one structure, with progress against plan visible by project and across the portfolio.

Monitoring, evaluation and reporting

Indicators with targets, disaggregation (sex, age, location, group), evidence attachments and reporting periods — computed from captured data, exported in the formats donors ask for.

Beneficiary and case management

A single beneficiary record across projects with consent, enrolment, services received, referrals and case notes, with access limited by role and location.

Field data collection

Mobile forms that work offline on entry-level Android and synchronize when a connection returns, with GPS, photos and validation at the point of entry.

Grant and resource tracking

Grants, budget lines, expenditures and distributions tracked against agreements, with alerts for thresholds and deadlines.

Dashboards for decision-makers

Live dashboards for country offices, headquarters and donors, each showing only what they are entitled to see.

Key features and workflows

What a typical system includes.

  • Multi-location operations: country, region, field office and partner levels
  • Approval workflows for activity plans, procurement requests and reports
  • Data quality checks, duplicate detection and verification queues
  • Scheduled donor and management reports
  • Two-way integration with existing data tools where you already collect data
  • Low-bandwidth, mobile-first interfaces and Amharic/English support

Integration and deployment

Many organizations already use collection tools, accounting packages or donor portals. We integrate rather than replace where it makes sense, migrate historical data with validation, and deploy to the organization's own cloud account so the data stays under its control.

  • Import and sync with existing form and survey tools
  • Exports to spreadsheets and donor reporting templates
  • APIs for headquarters systems and partner organizations
  • Deployment to your cloud account, with documented environments

Security, privacy and access control

  • Beneficiary data protected by role- and location-based access, with consent recorded
  • Encryption in transit and at rest, with sensitive fields restricted to authorized roles
  • Audit trail on every change to beneficiary and financial records
  • Backups, retention and deletion rules aligned with your data-protection policy

Practices are described in full on how we work and security.

Delivery process

How a NGO & development sector solutions engagement runs.

You are never guessing where the project is. Every week you get a short written update and a demo on a staging environment you can open on your phone; every milestone has an acceptance checklist agreed in advance; and you talk to the engineers doing the work, not an account manager.

  1. 01

    Discovery and requirements analysis

We meet the people who do the work, map the current process, and document roles, data, integrations and constraints. You get a written requirements document to review.

  2. 02

    Solution architecture and proposal

A proposed architecture, the scope in plain language with what is explicitly out, milestones with acceptance criteria, and a fixed price per scope. Timelines are written here, not promised on the first call.

  3. 03

    UI/UX design and prototyping

Clickable prototypes of the key screens, tested with real users where possible — including the least experienced ones — before engineering starts.

  4. 04

    Development and quality assurance

Build in short iterations with weekly demos on staging, automated tests, code review and security checks. You can test each milestone against its acceptance checklist.

  5. 05

    Deployment and implementation

Data migration with dry runs, deployment to your infrastructure or ours, parallel running where needed, and a rehearsed cut-over with a rollback path.

  6. 06

    Training, maintenance and ongoing support

Training for administrators and users, documentation and runbooks, then a support arrangement with agreed response times and a backlog of improvements we prioritize with you.

Experience

What we have delivered, and what we have not.

We have not yet published a case study for an NGO or development-sector client. This page describes what we are prepared to build, based on the data, workflow and offline-capable mobile engineering we run in production on our own products. We will be direct about this on any call.

Questions

What clients ask about NGO & development sector solutions.

Do you work with donor reporting formats?

Yes. Indicator frameworks, disaggregation and reporting periods are configured per donor, and reports are exported in the template you need. We ask for the real templates during discovery.

Can field data be collected offline?

Yes. Mobile forms store entries on the device and synchronize when a connection is available, with conflict handling and a record of who collected what, where and when.

Where is the data hosted?

Wherever your policy requires: your own cloud account, a region you choose, or servers you manage. We document the environment and hand over the keys.

How do we start?

Send a short project inquiry. An engineer replies within one business day with questions and a proposed next step — usually a discovery call.
